fap fap fap fap fap fap.

It's quite possible FH2 will become a distant memory for me when this comes out. If they have stayed true to the original RO and updated where it needed it this game will rock, pure and simple!

RO was the best wars sim ever in many departments.

Yeah this was a bit of a downfall in that respect, great for mates who like teamplay but sadly this doesn't happen all the time. Usually 1 (selfish) guy would take the tank and do both driver and commander roles.

I'm guessing that the tank system will stay the same with the new game, I can't see them changing it to 1 occupant per tank see as they are marketing this game as a war sim.

I notice in one of the game play vids that there is now a Commander interface similar to the BF2/FH one that gives the same kind of functions.

I'm excited  :0b:

I think i might have a RO day today, may aswell seen as all my FH2 buddies have had their brains sucked out and are trapped in some silly tank game  :0f:

Played a few hours of RO yesterday and started to remember why i got pissed off with it......

one word.... Sniper.  I kept getting killed  20 times a round by the same guy laming it at the back of the map.

I truly hope that there won't be a sniper class available on every single map in the new release, there probably will be though.  :0a:

graphics are crap for sure, its an old mod made using on old engine.

the game is supposed to be a war sim as opposed to the run of the mill shooter, hence the slower player model movement and lack of gymnastic abilities that most games give you.

it's definitely not everyone's cup of tea but the atmosphere and game play made it fun for me, i always like a game that takes a while to master.

arghhhhhhhhhhhh!

the player models look a bit spakkyfied the way the run , it does look like a nice game though, sniper or not.  :0c:

a friend tells me that it will be 64 player MP, i've not confirmed this yet but i hope so, also he says that there will only be 2 tank types on release so i am thinking that all maps will be infantry based only with 1 tank each side for support .

i guess that more vehicles will get released later on and then hopefully some larger combined arms custom maps will become available.

Here a linkt to "the fact thread" with a lot of nice features (which I currently miss in fh2).

http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/s ... hp?t=34141

I read on the forum that the game will be released with 10 maps; 9 infantry/CO and 1 tank map.
