How install EoD?

Yesterday evening I downloaded some EoD files and now I wonder how too install this game on my computer.
Anything special with windows Vista too install EoD?

hm normaly not,
install BF42 with patch 1.6 and then incremental 1.61,
than EoD 1.0 than patch 1.1 and than 1.2 .

Yes, and just make sure, you disable both punkbuster processes. That killed me for weeks, until I found that mistake.

I downloaded EoD 2.0 and that's the one for the Battlefield 2. 
Seems I have patch 1.1 and than 1.2 but not the EoD 1.0.
Dunno where too download that file  .

Gameupdates.org has Torrents for EOD. Look out for the 1.x releases:

Punktbuster: Processes (like PnkBstrA.exe) can be found in the task manager, which you activate by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL. I hope that's what hslan.Hanseat was referring to.

Yes, I got two of them running:

PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe

When you close them, click to end the 'process structure' not only the 'process'.
