I'm jealous
Huh, I just got back from 4 day trip at Berlin. What awesome country you guys live in. Cheap bier and good food. I really really look forward for my next trip there, I'll make that soon as possible. Weather was very nice, +16 today when we left, and now i'm here back in Finland and it's snowstorm here . Berliner waiße ftw .
Re: I'm jealous
Sure is, but it was nice exotic experience. Nothing like that in Finland...
Re: I'm jealous
if you have been impressed by berlin food and beer, you should consider visiting germanys south, or even better, austria.

Yes, I actually tough so. Maybe München next time or something else, future will tell. But I really enjoyed sights also, even tough I have heard that berlin is not so good city to travel compared to other big cities in Germany. I saw Reichstag and visited some museums and old palace, was it Frederic IIs palace or something. I really can't remember. I suffered some weird memory loss every night at bar :0f:.
Edit: I almost forgot, you got beatyful girls there also. Too bad I was't around on weekend.

munich is good place to start, but a visit to vienna might blow your mind concerning historics, including sights like the most impressive schloss schönbrunn and THE "flakturm" still standing in the augarten.
and yes, the "weißwurstäquator" does make a difference between good and excellent food. :0f:

Don't forget to visit Dresden. If you're really looking for sights, you'll find plenty of them here, like Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Zwinger etc. etc. Sure you heard of it before.
And if you're looking for beer we have some good breweries here, too.
And everybody knows that Saxon girls are the best!

'East' German girls are 'easy' as well, so you might like to look into that.
I for one have to be patriotic and say go visit Aachen, Karl der Große's most favourite place. Lot's of history there and the Hürtgenwald is just around the corner.
Other than that any old town in Germany will do. Be it Nürnberg, Heidelberg or what is even nicer travel along the rivers in Germany. The Mosel for example has some of the most beautiful Wineries and old Castles that you can imagine.
